Breakfast Sliders

Bacon, Brie, and Caramelised Onion Relish

Can't wait for lunch? Try these sliders filled with crispy bacon, creamy brie and sweet tangy caramelised onion relish. Great for a progressive party, entree, main, bridal shower or hang over cure! 


Ingredients
  • Fresh bread rolls - all individual, for presentation purposes! (Don't get the 6 pack with the rolls all stuck together!)
  • 8 medium rashes bacon, fried or baked to a crisp.
  • Caramelised Onion Relish - 1 heaped teaspoon Baxters (or any) - so very vital*
  • Brie Wheel - cut into strips, edges trimmed off only
  • * Try beetroot relish for a spin on the recipe!

Instructions


  1. Preheat oven to 180 or 350
  2. Cook bacon - in fry pan with butter, or baking tray in oven.
  3. Cook eggs - in rings, or an amazing bessemer (pictured below)
  4. Spread 1 x teaspoon of onion relish onto the buns, top and bottom 
  5. Build the burger with rocket, then bacon, egg and brie on top
  6. Bake for 15 minutes!

Ingredients
  • Fresh bagels - wholegrain or white 
  • Salmon - I always keep some in my fridge as an appetiser with lemon!
  • Capers & Dill - they compliment salmon like butter on bread
  • Cream Cheese spread - Philladelphia or other 
  • Radish or Red Onion - adds a crisp texture & great flavour
  • Cucumber - a perfect filler that makes it a little more brunch!

Strawberry Pancake Sliders

Any recipe that has me slicing strawberries is a winner to me!

  • Strawberries - sliced across into discs
  • Double Cream - easy, thick and tasy, with no whipping required!
  • Honey or Maple syrup - (try rice malt syrup for a healthy alternative but who are we kidding) drizzle on top
  • Mini pancakes - made fresh or using these amazing bad boys
